AUDIOVISUAL TRANSLATION SERVICES
Stories that travel
From subtitles and scripts to videogames and AI-generated dubbing, I adapt audiovisual content for Spanish-speaking audiences without losing the voice, rhythm, or intent behind the original.
STORY / SOUND / CONTEXT
WHAT I CAN HELP WITH
Audiovisual translation shaped around your story.
Every audiovisual format has its own constraints. Subtitles must be readable, dialogue must sound natural, and game text must work within the experience. I adapt your content with those realities in mind, so the Spanish version feels intentional rather than added on.

Videogame Localization
Bring interactive worlds to Spanish-speaking players with dialogue and terminology that feel native to the game.

AUDIENCES ACROSS MARKETS
One language. Many ways to watch and play.
Humor, idioms, cultural references, and even the way dialogue sounds can change from one Spanish-speaking market to another. The right approach depends on where your audience is and how your content will be experienced.
Mexican Spanish
Dialogue, humor, and references adapted with Mexican viewers and players in mind.

LATAM Spanish
Natural, widely accessible Spanish for releases intended to reach audiences across Latin America.

Country-Level Adaptation
Targeted adjustments to dialogue, terminology, and cultural references for individual markets when a broader version is not enough.

THE WORKFLOW
From source material to screen
The workflow starts with the format, audience, and production requirements. From there, I translate, adapt, and review the language against the context in which it will actually appear.
Understand
Review source files, target audience, references, and any timing or platform requirements.
Translate & Adapt
Adapt dialogue and on-screen language for meaning, rhythm, and audiovisual constraints.
Review & Refine
Review readability, terminology, timing considerations, and consistency with the original.
Deliver & Align
Deliver the agreed files and incorporate contextual feedback during production review.
THE DIFFERENCE
Language that respects the story and the audience
Good audiovisual translation works on several levels at once: it communicates meaning, fits the medium, and feels natural to the people watching or playing. My three principles guide those decisions throughout the project.
| Linguistic Excellence
Natural Spanish, careful terminology, and cultural nuance that respect the original intent.
| Tech with Purpose
Practical use of digital workflows and AI, with human judgment where it matters most.
| Human Drive
Attention to the people behind the content and the audience receiving it.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A few things you might be wondering.
What audiovisual formats can you work with?
I can work with video scripts, subtitle files, game dialogue and interface strings, and AI-generated dubbing or subtitle outputs. Share your available files and delivery requirements so we can confirm the best workflow.
Can you work with SRT and other subtitle formats?
Yes, subtitle files such as SRT can be part of the workflow. If you use a different format or platform, let me know which one so we can confirm compatibility and delivery expectations.
What is the difference between subtitling and closed captioning?
Subtitles primarily convey dialogue in another language. Closed captions also communicate relevant non-speech audio, such as sound effects and speaker identification, to support accessibility. SDH subtitles combine these needs for viewers who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Can you review AI-generated subtitles or dubbing?
Yes. I review the translated language for meaning, tone, terminology, cultural fit, and natural delivery. For dubbing projects, the scope of the audit depends on whether you provide scripts, audio, video, or a combination.
Can you localize a game for Latin America?
Yes. I work with LATAM Spanish localization for indie and mid-sized games, including dialogue, narrative text, UI, and storefront content. Terminology and character voice are aligned with the game and its intended audience.
How do you price audiovisual translation?
My standard rate starts at $50 USD per hour. Project-based pricing may be available depending on the content, length, file formats, and scope of review. Tell me about your project for a tailored estimate.
